- from Bank 0 - 9
- - Use Pch # 10 - 19 to load only the RAM
- patches from Bank 0 - 9
-
- Setup
- - load a Setup from the instrument
- - use the PCH # to select the setup
- to load
-
- * IMPORTANT! For the K2500 a
- MINIMUM ROM version of 2.64 is
- required or the software will not work
- properly!
-
- * The 1 Bank implementation for the K2000
- and K2500 does not use Parent/Child
- relationships because it does not have
- access to all the bank information.
- If you wish to have MQ maintain these,
- you must use the All Banks option
-
- * If you are having difficulty sending patches
- to the K2000 or K2500, please keep in
- mind that the reason the patches may
- not be arriving is that PRAM memory is
- full. In this case, you may need to
- manually delete patches from another
- bank before sending patches from
- Midi Quest
-
- * Currently only Patches (in Patch Banks)
- are auditioned to the instrument
-
- * Match the Comm to the units SysEx Id
- - Press the MIDI button
- - Press the RECV button
- - The Comm Ch should be set to one
- greater than the SysEX ID
- eg. if SysEx ID is 0, set Comm Ch to 1
-
- * Memory Requirements
- - Support for the K-series will run under
- Win 3.1 but Win 95, Win 98, or NT 4.0
- is preferable
- - You should be able to use the Large
- models for either the K2000 or K2500
- Group with a minimum of 16MB. 32MB
- is recommended however. With
- less, you wil only be able to use the
- Small model
-
- * Tested using K2500 ROM v2.64
-
- * Note: when using any of the bank
- randomization functions on Patches or
- K2500 Setups, you should ensure that
- each patch has the same number
- of layers otherwise unpredictable are
- possible
